Description
In the central fields of the seven bays of the new eight-branched stellar vault of the nave and the presbytery, built after the fire of 1635, are depictions of angels in dishevelled robes playing various instruments (violins, trumpets, flutes, horns). The paintings were plastered over during the restoration of the church in 1819 and uncovered again in the twentieth century, and underwent conservation work in 1978-1980.
